Subject: Shredder 3 settings.

I read a review that stated Shredder 3 as performing best with 'tactical search'
turned on, even though that is not in the default settings for supposed optimal
play. I have been using the default settings to this point in my program v.
program testing with disappointing results. I am multi-tasking on the one
machine with permanent brain switched off. At 60 in 60, my points table to date
gives the following order of strength : Chessmaster 7000, Fritz 5.16, Hiarcs 6,
Junior 4.6, Chess Genius 6, Shredder 3. Anyone care to comment?
