That means your programs will take half as long to find a lousy move or a great move. Don't think that it will play twice as strong. These fast processors are great for programs that are now good at 40/2 but not at blitz. Get it and then kick yourself for not waiting eight months for the 1500 MHz processors. You could wait until then and get a far-out discount on archaic 800 MHz equipment. Coupled with an ultra fast 32 Mbyte video board you will have a hell of a game machine if you decide to buy the 800 MHz Thunderbird. What would say if I told you that in five years we will have 8000 MHz equivalent machines and 200 GByte memory storage devices. Standard RAM will be 2048 MByte. Screens will be flat panel 25 inch with a refresh rate of 300 Hz and display up to 4096x1600 with far better contrast than todays monitors. Tim Frohlick
