Torstein,

You will be pleased with the 700 MHz machine.  It will be like a little daughter
to you.  You are correct that after 2-3 years it will be less than the fastest.
If you have the money then spend it.  Just like a new Mercedes touring
sedan--Delicious and well worth the money if you have it.
