You can't be sure how much of the book would be covered as your program might make unconventional moves bringing Fritz out of book. Especially if you exclude the evaluation function :o). You won't end up with the Fritz book, because you offer your program the possibility of choosing the openings it percieves as sound in accordance with its evaluation. So it's not the same as using the Fritz book instead. Maybe some sort of human/computer book hybrid? Best wishes... Mogens
