Chris Whittington gave me the following information on the Blitz tournament which is expected to start today afternoon at 14:00. According to tournament director Jaap van den Herik 24 or 25 participants are expected. Probably not playing will be: CSTal, MChess, Goliath, Stobor, Woodpusher, Toledo, Arthur, Francesca, Ananse -- but operators may still change their minds. Chris promised to try phone me again at 18:30, and maybe already earlier once at about 16:30. ( So no full "live" coverage. ) Ingo Althoefer.
