It is hard to discuss or criticize this. I personally thing xboard/winboard pieces are the best ones (much clearer than many commercial software) and I even used to change the piece set of some programs so that they used winboard's one. All this is a matter or taste and we can hardly argue that someone has more artistic taste than another. I hope winboard pieces will not dramatically change or at list, we will always have the choice to go back to the good old one. Ujecrh
