If you downloaded the file cmpers at my website you would have
seen others there I had also tested. My Test and Test 2 were the
final settings I ended up with. My story is similar to Michael
Cummings in that the settings are never convincing enough to win
and win. They just win, win you think great then they lose bad.

My own fav settings were slaughtered in my own tourney, though I have
run many others where it has won by a similar margin to that which it
lost with.

I don't believe it will ever be possible to convincingly prove which
settings are best, some will win v prog a and lose to b others lose to
a and beat b. Without thousands of tourney control games and never versions
being released every year there is not enough time to test.

I note in passing that Rebel did not convince themselves that anyone found
better game playing settings in the Century testing.

Other programs also have similar features, shredder and MCP, I have even
tried to make similar settings there: If it works on CM maybe shredder or
MCP but nothing ever works as you would like and there isn't enough time
to run hundreds of tourney games.

Here are three you are welcome to try.
I have tournament wins by all three against all other settings
at around 60 game. Naturally they also lose to the other settings.

If you want any help running some games let me know, especially
if you test at 1 hour/game or longer controls.

Thanks.
