Subject: Paris Round 10: News on Virtual - CSTal

The position in which Thorsten resigned on behalf of CSTal looks like

Virtual ( with White ) has king + rook + bishop + pawn on e5
CSTal ( with Black ) has king + rook + pawn on f7

Both programs show about +6.00 for Virtual, but there may be a problem.
If pawns are changed the position is probably a draw. So White has to
play very carefully, and it may become at least a sea-snake.

There is a real chance that Virtual may miss the win.

Concerning the offered prizes of Herbert Jebbink for the two best
contenders on K6-233 or slower ( 1 free year on ICC, 6 free months
on ICC ) I have asked Thorsten to make it public in the tournament
hall.
