I would not worry about it.

If like you said you read all the posts, you would have seen that no more
patches were going to come out. They are working on CM8K.

CM7K was a waste of space, just another version to bring out to make sure there
was not a huge gap between versions.

If you had CM6K and had been reading here, the only possible reason to buy CM7K
would be 1. If this was going to be your first CM product, or, 2. Buying it
cause you are a fan and wanted to try the new interface.

That said I did not buy it cause it had the same engine. And it was not until it
was released that the question of hash was even bought up. If I knew before the
product was released that the hash was going to be limited like that, then I
would not have even bothered to give the program any consideration whatsoever.

And for this to be excused as a bug is even more stupid. They can have it for
the previous one, and for some reason it is just forgotten in CM7K. What next,
will they forget the chessmaster personality, or even to put in a chess engine.
