With the default time settings, my own program, Queen (version 1.4.14 which I just uploaded to my website) now usually beats TSCP 1.5, but this is not a fair comparison because TSCP takes less time than Queen. Would it not be better to change TSCP default time setting? After all, human players won't mind waiting for a good move for, say, two seconds. Yes, I know there is a TSCP command "st n" to make the program search for n seconds. Is "st 1" the default setting or what? Leen Ammeraal http://home.wxs.nl/~ammeraal/
