I recently upgraded my motherboard from a 486DX2/66 16mb ram to a Cyrix
200+PR Motherboard MMX and 32 RAM. I never had any problems running
Genius4 with the 486 motherboard, but with the Cyrix one I am ALWAYS
exepriencing problems. I let Genius4 analyze its next move at
"Infinite" level, and after around 90 minutes either the computer
reboots itself, or this message appears at random!
Windows
A fatal error 0E has occured at 0028:C000281B in VXD VMM (01)+ 0000181B.
The current application will be terminated.
-Press any key to terminate current application
-Press Ctrl+Alt+Del again to restart your computer. You will lose any
unsavedinformation in all applications.
Incidentally, also while running Netscape the computer sometimes does a
cold boot by itself. I remember hearing that Cyrix processors may be
incompatible with some software, is my motherboard/processor faulty or
it isn't compatible with the Cyrix? I tested my RAM and it passed all
tests. I too have rebel8 and run in pure DOS mode and use 28mb hash and
left it for 10 hours to analyze and NEVER had any problems!!
Any help greatly appreciated,
