Here below, the results of a Young Talents bash, showing SOS, and a couple of
others. I agree it is a good engine! This was 2 a comp event @ 40 mins each
prog and 9 games per pair.
Program Score % Av.Op. Elo + - Draws
1 Crafty 17.10 : 42.0/ 63 66.7 2485 2605 72 82 28.6 %
2 Gromit 3.1 : 33.5/ 63 53.2 2497 2519 86 68 30.2 %
3 Ikarus V0.18 : 33.5/ 63 53.2 2497 2519 86 68 30.2 %
4 SOS : 33.0/ 63 52.4 2498 2514 87 66 31.7 %
5 Phalanx XXII : 31.0/ 63 49.2 2501 2495 67 89 28.6 %
6 Comet B20 : 29.5/ 63 46.8 2503 2481 68 86 30.2 %
7 Goliath Light : 28.0/ 63 44.4 2505 2466 68 83 31.7 %
8 AnMon 5.07 : 21.5/ 63 34.1 2514 2400 76 72 33.3 %
Guess I will match SOS at longer time controls, just to see what happens?
