Many games of the last round are finished, yet. And the top of the final ranking is: 1. Junior (PII-300) 9.5 2. Virtual (PII-300) 8.0 3. Shredder (Alpha-533) 7.5 4.-(6or7) MChess, Ferret, Hydra and maybe Toledo ( game still running ) all 7.0 Ferret is on Alpha-767 and Toledo on PII-300. So the prizes of Herbert Groot Jebbink ( for best teams on hardware with tact 233 or slower ) go to MChess and Hydra, both on K6-233. The refined ranking is not known yet. But probably MChess will have the better one. Probably it was not the first intention of Herbert to give the prize to two professional teams, but such is life. Both programs really are strong to achieve such a performance on "normal" hardware. Congratulations! IA
