But there are more than one winner move without having to play 42. Rb1(for example, 42. Kg4, 42. f6, 42. g6 wins). I don't believe that he has not seen at least one of these moves. This type of position isn't difficult for GMs. 39... b2 40. g5 hxg5 41. hxg5 Qd6 42. Rb1 (Kg4, f6 e g6 also wins) Kg8 43. Rxb2 Rxb2 44. Qxb2+- Paulo
