On behalf of Amir and myself I would like to thank all of you for
your good wishes!

It was a privilege for us to have the opportunity
to play in this championship especially after we were denied to take
part
in Jakarta and here again thank those who had been supportive during the
rough time
we had last year.

Junior is "our life time project", started by Amir 10 years
ago, 6 years later I joined the effort.

Currently, we are still amateurs, full time employees of local software
companies,
and Junior is developed in our spare time.

We had relatively high exposure playing in the Israeli primer chess
league
which is quite a strong field.
Recently we were banned from the league due to our results....

Some of Junior's better results include:

Hong-Kong Computer World championships May 1995 - shared third place
with
Deep Blue prototype running on Pentium 90 Mhz

Nir-Galim rapid tournament Nov. 1995 Pentium 90 Mhz shared third after
Leonid Yudasin and Judit Polgar

Budapest April 1996 Alpha 200 Mhz match versus Judit Polgar 2-4 Judit
won

Kfar-Saba open 1997 Standard time control Pentium 133 Mhz shared 4th
place
performance 2525 Elo

Last but not least I would like to thank this "live-line" especially
Ingo Althofer, Thorsten,
Robert Hyatt, Chris and all the good men who are responsible for the
coverage here.
