As I and others have suggested, it's highly unlikely that you're able to use the CM6K settings with CM8K, given the obvious need for a redesigned engine and GUI. I think you would be better off running a chessmaster personality championship. When at least three people are as committed to Chessmaster experimentation as Chessfun, Daniel Chancey and you, then it should be possible to make a comprehensive and flawless tournament. Agree on a certain amount of settings and start it up. That would be my suggestion, but I'm a mere bystander. Best wishes... Mogens
