Have you tried the improved Hiarcs 7.32 book that is on the chessbase web site?

http://www.chessbase.com/download/index.htm

Also, Hiarcs 7.32 plays very well using the Junior6a opening book (JBOOK.CTG.)
Because of Hiarcs postional style of chess, I have found that the Fritz book is
not optimal.

I might also add that Hiarcs plays probably the most amusing chess than any
commercial chess package. Most of the tactical monsters like Fritz6a and
RebelTiger are very strong and very conservative. Hiarcs plays very positional
chess and almost with a "by the seat of the pants" nature. =)

As far as purchasing a new program, you may wish to wait for the next version of
Hiarcs. It will be here very soon.
