Century 1.2 does something similar. In the second, CST picks Rd4 with an evaluation of +0.50. Forcing the first moves until 23.h3, the eval is the almost identical +0.32, as if black were better, which means it doesn't realize what's going on. In the third position, CST plays BxB, missing it again. In the Kasparov game it plays d5, like all other programs I tried. I expected CST to play these positions more intelligently, but it doesn't. I guess that programming this sort of knowledge is more difficult than I thought, but not being a programmer what do I know. Enrique
