Yes, and as one who is primarily a user of computer chess programs as opposed to a programmer (though I have a programming background). I would much rather play a program which is designed to play against humans as opposed to other computers. I tend to be less interested in programs which might play well against other programs but fare less well in matches against humans. Randy Baker
