Draws with Fritz and Junior, both with black.  The draw with Fritz was a
rep draw, I didn't check to see who was better, but Junior was up a pawn
in an opposite B ending.

Actually, when the dust cleared I had done fine (5th, or tied 4th,
depending upon how you report this).

I'm not quite sure how to take this "angry" comment.  I have emotional
ups and downs at these, to say the least, but I think that I was more
disappointed than angry, typically.

In the last round of the main tournament I was happy because I had no
pressure on me, because I couldn't win, and because I got to play white,
and because the damned thing was almost over.

The blitz tournament is completely brutal.  You cannot do well in it
unless you take it absolutely seriously.

The background noise wasn't a big deal at all.  I was distracted by
people setting off flashes in my face, but I didn't hear any noise that
I remember.
