Any comments or better defendings in the Kd4 line ???
I hope chris finds out WHY cstal did not PLAY Qe1+ after 48.Ke3.

So this game looks like a draw ! 41.Nxg3 looks clever for playing on
draw chances!
An amazing game. I was very down after 48.Rce8. On the other side of
the board sat the virtual operator and was grinning. I could have
killed him in this special moment.

Cstal is always good for a bug !

Chris invited me for dinner but I was to depressed to eat anything.
Angrily I shouted at him: No - I am not hungry. I am not thirsty. I am
not anything in the moment. I want to do nothing unless I get my
feeling somehow balanced, or I cannot guaranty for anything.

Not very sportsmanlike. Maybe you can understand when you consider
that CSTal was good in the competition before the 10th round and that
a draw in this round would have been very good.
I think we were ranked 5th after the 9th round. 6.5 from 10 would have
given me SHREDDER as opponent and not the fear-opponent NIMZO/Hydra.
But chris repetition-bug made anything worse. The move Rce8 was
outplayed in the last seconds of the computing time !! Before there
was Qe1+ with draw score ! Before Virtual chess computed on Kf3 with a
draw score (0.00) and no main line. Then Virtual computed a long time
over Kd4 ! I looked into Mr.Baudot's face. I saw what he saw ! Thats
the keypoint of the game, will Virtual find Kd4 now ?? If not now,
than never !
I thought Kd4 would be an easy win for white. In the moment I am not
this sure, but in Paris I thought so.
But suddenly, maybe Virtual had not enough time for another
computation on Kd4, it moved Kf3 and we all know, it would not further
play Kd4 because it had refuted the move once !
So Mr.Baudot looked almost 3 cm smaller after Kf3. I stand up and
could not hold sitting on my chair. But suddenly, the shit Rce8 came.
I could kill Chris - was my first thought. Again a bug !

Hm.

After the game I was totally down with no energy left. Scotty unable
to repair the engine of the enterprise. No warp, no impulse power
left. Drifting enterprise in the space. I have never recovered from
this disaster. Even not in the last round. For me the tournament was
over (for CSTal) in the moment we played Rce8 ??!!
