Hello I've been going to ICC for almost 3 years now and have noticed that computer ratings (other than temporary spikes) have remained rather constant. This, despite improved programs and faster hardware. Because the playing pool is limited to other previously played programs and humans this suggests to me that a deflation of ratings (for programs only) may be occuring. i.e. a program with a 3000 rating today may still be a 3000 program in 2 years despite the above improvements. Best Regards, Peter
