>Well, then, that answer dind't help, so it seems. >How do you measure that it isn't 1540? >Against your own strenght? Against a test suite? With a multimeter? > >As I know my own strenght I can compare that to Hiarcs lowered in rating. That's >what I do, and again, for standard I think it's relatively okay, but not for >blitz, due to the very tactical nature of that time control and the tactical >performance of chess programs. > >Jeroen ;-} Well for one example in 40/2 White: Joshua Lee Black:Hiarcs 7.32 1540elo you have it doing this : 1.d4 d5 2.Nf3 Bf5 3.c4 dx4 4.Nc3 Nc6 5.e4 Bg4 6.Be3 Be6??? 7.d5 Bd7 8.dxc6 Bxc6 9.Ne5 1-0 ok so it plays below 1540 in this one but when it cpmes to other games it can win against me so i want to say it is 1940 but i don't know. I've had won games against experts and Masters so it isn't like i am 1540 i just think this rating isn't right .
