We require people to give their real names. We rely on the fact >that most people are honest about their real names. If we doubt that someone >has been honest about their name we can check up so that we can be sure. This sounds logical from a certain technological understanding. My problem with this method is created by the following reflection and fact: Take for a moment of thought for proven - and I will prove what you have doubted, or reported others have doubted - that I am not the supposed person R. Hyatt has stated, that I am different, - what would ICD and what would the moderators do with R. Hyatt and some others who have insulted me in public to be someone else? Or is it that R. Hyatt is allowed to act like that each time someone is posting something to think about the background of IBM, DB team and Hsu Feng? Also, it seems as if you do not understand my request to ICD. Perhaps you read for yourself the main page. There we have announcement that if someone has reasons to apppear with a different name than his real name, then he should contact the ICD staff - not the moderators of CCC. For reasons of personal security I do not want to give the moderators my very personal data but I would like to talk with ICD itself. As I said it is no problem to prove that I am _not_ the one R. Hyatt is assuming. At that moment of proof I want that ICD takes actions against R. Hyatt for (forbidden) ad hominems and unneccessary aggressive behavior in CCC. It can not be that R. Hyatt has fantasy strokes and a regular member without a negative standing must suddenly open his most private data to the moderators. This is also of legal relevance. The ICD is a company but the moderators of CC have only very limited legitimation. So I would like to talk with ICD, but not the moderators. ICD then could well inform the moderation board that the assumption of a double membership in my case is _false_. So in the end the moderator question is answered. Thank you for your friendliness to allow a deadline until July 4th. I hope that all could be done in time. Note that I have no other axe to grind with the moderators. But here in such legal questions the competence of the moderators is not given IMO. To speak it out, I would also tolerate if the moderators and R. Hyatt would declare that the discussing of the topics mentioning DB, IBM and Hsu Feng is forbidden on CCC. But then it should be declared openly. It is unbelievable for me that such politic should be existent here. Thank you for your reply, Hans Gerber > >>Just like if I was to have joined as Frank Fredricks.
