Why?  Someone said the same thing about dual processor machines several years
ago.  Now they are dirt cheap.  I know of evaluation Itanium machines that are
not SMP.  They are being used for Intel VAR software development projects, which
is a pretty common procedure.  In fact, I would bet that Eugene has one.  :)
