Since there's little difference between using ponder on or off AFAIK regarding the strength differences between programs, why not let the programs use the entire capability of the processor instead of sharing. But when ponder is implemented in Yace, then there's little to complain about, so good luck with your tournament :o). Best wishes... Mogens
