I work in the English department at a university, where "criticism" is used to refer to any sort of critical observation or remark, not just ones counter to the original author's point. It's been terribly busy dealing with the truly massive amount of work dealing with Hans Gerber et al. at the moment, so I'll beg off replying to the other things you had to say. Dave
