Good point, and I should have explained this clearly in the original post.

I believe Hans Gerber's situation is special because of the amount of feedback
we got about him and the way we dealt with him. Many people were interested in
what happened to Hans. It took us a long time to do anything about him. My post
was meant as sort of a public-interest apology.

Rest assured, I don't make a post every time the moderators decide on something.
