The book is definitively different. The exe is very near of the
commercial version but since the engine is improving each days
it was the latest engine. Not the version two weeks before....

After the fourth move of the opening, Marc and I looked at each other
and we knew by experience that it was nearly hopeless against a good
opponent (that is certainly what Shredder is!). It is difficult
to say if it cost us a point, but here we left it without
much resistance in the opening. Openings are really important in this
kind of tournaments....

But also, during the evening, we together were trying to understand why
the c5 move came up.... And we found nothing :(

On Saturday, Marc prepared all thing at best as possible but he
remarked that the opening book was not good also during the CSTAL
game...
Eventually they found that the link was bad and so VCII made 2 games
with the demo version and also the "normal" book.
("tournament" book is keep secret in the heart of our computers)

Yes, VCII did not so bad at all :)
     Guru was impressive too
     Tiger really needs mobility !
Anmon, Capture, Dragon were not that easy to win. (ask Ananse about
it!)
