No offense, but that is complete nonsense. How can it be a personal policy when
you're making your own decisions dependent on what others or the majority do. It
sounds more like a conditional disclosure policy to me. There will almost
certainly, no matter what group or forum you belong to, always be members that
are anonymous to you. So in reality you want to disclose as little information
as possible, using an elaborate excuse to disguise that fact.
