I think you miss the point. The two main topics discussed presently concerns the CCC itself and therefore within the charter. Clearly, a discussion about the forum itself, whether it be moderator praxis or member identity, falls in the category of computer chess, because the forum contains information about that issue. Issues like that can obviously not be settled through e-mail by any stretch of the imagination. Whether it's within reason or not, that's an entirely different matter.
