Chessbase programs must have been very unusual creatures in the former past . I think here if you do exactly the same you did before after reinstalling you will have exactly the same problems you experienced unless you change something in the procedure ;-) . So it is more something like a last step if everything else failed and I am not convinced this step is reached yet . In fact I have read even weirder ones like : reinstall Windows then reinstall Fritz then try again ( which should be sth like a whole day spent at the computer ) . regards ;-) pete
