Hello, I played at the moment a dual tourney with an dual system. A new try with a better layout: http://www.in-trier.de/~quisinsky/schach/cbase/cce_main.htm Hardware: Dual Pentium III 733EB, 64 MB hashtables, 5-piece Nalimov TBs, ponder = on, Windows NT4 SP6a, 40 moves in 40 minutes. The configurations can you find in a information page on this new webpage. Tourney "A" is a tourney under the new Young Talents CD with 14 engines. A little experiment is that here played an older Crafty version (15.20) and the latest Crafty version (17.11) ! It is good that now 15 different "Native Chess-Base Engines" are available ! People can see how strong the new YT engines played. Tourney "B" is a experimentel tourney under WinBoard 4.0.7 with 14 very strong WB engines. Here played the France master Capture, WB Shredder 3.0, WB Zarkov 4.5L, WB Gandalf 4.32d, WB Nimzo 2000b, Patzer 3.11, Comet B.23, Crafty 17.11, Amy 0.7, AnMon 5.09, SOS 03/99, Little Goliath 2000 2.8, Phalanx 22 and later the new Insomniac version (I think not ready at the moment) ! All engines against all engines 8 games, 104 games for each engine, tournament time is 1 year ! The first results (round 01/13) and games (PGN, CBH) are available. Have fun with my new page (updates daily) ! I think the tourney is very interesting and I am happy that I can put a lot of interesting programs in this "long" tourney ! Now we will see (amateurs, professionals and privat engines) ... 01) I missed the strong amateur programs in the SSDF, now a lot of years ! 10x Rebel, 10x MChess, 10x Fritz, 10x ... and an ... !! older Comet version !!. Sorry, for amateur chess is this more than bad !!! 02) I missed the strong amateur programs in the very interesting tourneys of Enrique because I think the place is not important, important are the games and the playing style. AnMon (or other) in the latest tourney by Enrique and the tourney have more fire on the board ! AnMon can win against all professionals in 30 moves with very good combination (my favorit program) !
