On the whole a Pentium ii is by far the best general purpose micro-processor available today for x686 PC.this is especially so for playing action computer games, where it is clearly superior to AMD K6 and miles ahead of a CYRIX. i feel thah apart from cost, a PII is still the best micro-processor, even for playing chess.
