Do you like the idea that people with more money are going to have an advantage
not because of better software?

I do not like it.

I prefer the idea that every program can choose the hardware (when the sponsors
will pay for the hardware) because the best hardware for the software may be
dependent in the software.

Unfortunately I am afraid that the sponsors have not enough money.
