Chessmaster was the leader of the ssdf list on p200MMX and it is one of the best programs and I believe that it was the best program one year ago. There are many options to change the parameters with chessmaster when there are almost no options to change with Fritz's engines. You can change the value of pieces and many positional factors in the evaluation of chessmaster when you cannot change the value of pieces with most chessbase engines and you cannot change parameters like mobility or passed pawn in most chess programs.
