A quick result...
I ran G/60 seconds games (where the book would be more important) and here are
the results:

(1) Crafty                    : 161 (+141,=  6,- 14), 89.4 %
SOS                           : 100 (+ 95,=  4,-  1), 97.0 %
Yace                          :  61 (+ 46,=  2,- 13), 77.0 %

It looks like SOS is not really good at the very fast games.
