You see, people don't creat a new mailing list for each specific topic they wan
to discuss.

A forum is a place were many topics, within some given boundaries, are allowed,
with the idea that noone can pretend to decide that his topic is superior to any
other.

What you feel annoying could be interesting for many silent readers, how do you
know?

You have already decided this topic are worth an e-mail but not a post here, I
disagree and I say sometimes I like to read this stuff.

If you don't like it, buy a wheel mouse. You'll scroll faster :-)

This is a wrong assumption, and morover you can't count readers.
