When Peter operated MChess he was there as sole member of that team. Anyway, who cares who moves where in the main tournament, you have two equipment moves per day, tops. So I had no objection to Peter sitting in the same spot for the whole tournament. I also had no objection to Loumann and his bad heart staying near the door, where there was more air. No problem in either case. In the blitz event, Peter was no longer the only person on his team. He operated for CST, and you were there, and so was Chris. So of course I wouldn't suggest that Peter move the computer. I would suggest that you or Chris do it. It seems obvious that on a three-person team, where two of the people are not impaired, you would have the unimpaired people move the machine. The blitz event is a tremendously hectic mess. Last year there was no method to anything, some people moved a lot, and some moved very little. It was my idea to establish a rule of thumb whereby white will typically be the one to move. Not a rule, so much as a guideline. This worked well, I think. bruce
