There should be allowed anything that is related to computer chess. There should be some lattitude for off-topic stuff. There should not be: Things rejected because we disagree with them Things rejected because we are not interested in them Personal attacks Commercial endorsements (blatant variety) To attempt to regulate topicality according to what is interesting is worse than ludicrous -- it is foolhardy. Can someone show me an "interesting-o-meter"? Of course not. What is interesting to one person is dull to another and vice-versa. Criticism should be allowed as long as the criticism is directed towards the ideas and not the person. It seems obvious enough to me.
