Yes, I saw this discussion on the Crafty-list. I have a faint memory of Dann Corbit saying that various versions of Crafty and also Hiarcs have been used to analyze positions. I guess this will make it impossible to do some sort of mini-max analysis of the scores. Excuse me if I got it all wrong, I haven't been able to understand the CAP-project to its full extent. Ralf
