At this point, it would take a long time to delete the thread, and if the thread were to be deleted, another huge thread would take its place, namely, "Why was the Chris-bashing thread deleted?" So, the moderators are stuck between a rock and a hard place. I think the best thing to do is wait for the thread to go away in a few days. -Tom
