Ok then, I agree with most of what you say. I am a little touchy (?)
about Java when (as in this case) it is the implementor (CK)
and lousy browsers that is most of the problem. I'm not into writing
applications such as Blitzin so I can't tell, but I assume it's
possible that native applications edge over applets will be
significant in the foreseeable future.
In this case one should go for e.g. Win32-programs and KC
definitely should have done so considering the crap they have produced.

Btw, this discussion made me finally download the plugin from Sun that
will use the Java 1.3 runtime-environment instead of Netscape's and MS's JVMs.
I don't think it is applicable to KC but it will be fun to see what it's
like.
