I can only provide my impressions of Fritz 5.32 and CM 6000. There was a similar
question at r.g.c.c.; I'm quoting myself as follows:

I have compared CM6k, Fritz 5.32 (and several others) by test
positions. At combinations, I think that CM6k, Fritz 5(.16)/5.32 and
Hiarcs 7.32 are equally strong; their results were very similar. Btw.,
Crafty 16.6 and Little Goliath 2000a performed at the same level in
this segment of the test.
In 10 positional tests, the Fritz's were significantly better than the
other progs mentioned (but not as good as CSTal II or Shredder 3 for
example).
In a small sample of 6 endgame positions (tested without tablebases),
CM6k found more solutions than Fritz - but the best in this part was
Crafty 16.6. I do not have the latest versions of some programs.
