Dear ?? Mr.Borgstaedt,

please pay attention to the fact, that it wasn`t necessary for us, to
prepare anything
against your famous Goliath ! When your program crashes, MChess had an
evaluation of
+3.06 ....:-))))) Your suspicion is disgusting and it is better, that
you think
about your own activities ( In Deutsch : fassen Sie sich an die eigene
Nase ! ).We
know, that if there was some preparation, then from your side ! Why ?
Because you have
send a new version in the between time via Internet to your operator.
This fact was told
us by Mr.Caen from Titus, who received this version from you and gived
it to your
operator. Let me tell you what really happened in Paris :

1.) I played with Mchess Pro against Goliath with White. After the 16.
move your
program crashed .....:-( Unfortunaly your operator was very
inexperienced with
computers and he didn`t know how to:
a.) unzip the packed program to the harddisk
b.) install the program on the harddisk
c.) start the program ...sick !!!!!!!
d.) put in the moves or set up the position until the crashed position
......

2.) a lot of people tried to help him. He couldn`t give any reasonable
answer to our
questions. People like Thorsten Czub, Dan Wulff, Gerd Isenberg and
myself tried to help
him but your program didn`t work. Unfortunately the interface and the
handling of Goliath
is not so easy to understand for outsiders; what is with the fantastic
intuitive interface,
that is announced over a year here in your advertisement campaigns ???
Okay, after 3 hours
there was no solution for these problems and the tournament director
decided a win for
MChess.

3.) Later you make your official protest and you claimed, that the crash
of Goliath was
a result of buggy hardware. The comitee decided, that the game must be
continued on a
new computer, but exactly with the same version, which was used in our
game. I myself
accepted this WITHOUT protest. Perhaps you should read the chapter in
the rules about
the qualification of the operators for these tournaments ?

4.) Before we continued our game, I called the tournament director Jaap
van den Herik
and told him, that he should prove the date of the used Exe-File of
Goliath. I claimed this,
because we received the information from Mr.Caen, that you have send a
new version to your
operator. We looked into the directory and what did we see ???? Your
operator wanted to use
the newer version ......perhaps any preparation
??????????????????????????? Naturally I
protested against this unfair behavior and Mr. van den Herik accepted.
Again I have to wait
a longer time, because your operator have so much problems, to find the
last version and
to install it on the computer ........

Fazit : "wer im Glashaus sitzt, sollte nicht mit Steinen werfen ...."
"Sitting in a house of glass, don`t throw with stones ...."
