DJ6 has played 4 games against opponents with average ratings of 2685. DJ6 score is +1 =3 -0 for a TPR of 2785. Not bad at all! But the next 5 games will be very tough for DJ6 in my opinion. Game I Guess Kramnik (2770) – Junior 6 0-1 Junior 6 - Akopian (2660) 1-0 Anand (2762) – Junior 6 0-1 Junior 6 - Piket (2649) 1-0 Leko – Junior 6 (2743) 0-1 This would give DJ6 4.5 out of 9 for 50%, a GM norm, score of +3 =3 -3, a TPR of 2702, and 180 point gaim from the Dual processor performance rating (or about 100 points for each doubling of the speed against competition rated 300+ points higher). Of course this may not be correct. This is just pure speculation for fun. :) DJ6 has several things going against it. Three games as black vs two games as white. The 2700+ players are all playing white and the two other GM's are very good. I think Anand is a lock for a win (just a guess) and I expect Kramnik has seen enough of DJ6 in this tournament to be ready for the beast. Akopian and Piket will have the benefit of analysis from today's game as well as watching Kramnik and Anand. This is all silly ofcourse, chess is played over the board and lots can happen. GM's make mistakes, get tired, and get frustrated. Operators get tired and make mistakes. Machines crash, power failures, other components fail. This will be fun to watch. :) What do you think. I am no expert, so let me hear your thoughts. :) Best Regards, Chris Carson
