Any advice is >appreciated. Thanks. I own Hiarcs 7.32, and it is a great program, but I don't think it's appreciably more "positional" than Fritz 5, which I also own. All of the programs are calculators and in that sense "tactical." To be a true "positional" player, you must be able to conceptualize and form long-term plans, which only humans can do.
