It will play sacrifices, and not all of them sound, just like human players do. It will go for your King, and sometimes throw pieces willy-nilly to get it. If you successfully defend, then you will be in the Catbird seat, but if you don't, you will probably think you just did play Tal. If you are a GM, then it will not be strong enough to excite you, but if you are a club player, or expert, it will play more human-like than almost any other program, since Chris W. programmed it differently than most others, and. It examines far fewer NPS than any other professional program on the same processor, but is only 100-200 elo below the top programs. If you are wanting to play it against other programs, then you will probably be disappointed, as it is made to play humans. It does best at Tournament levels on an Athlon 700 or better. kp
