World champion. The bold confidence is postively exuded by the upstart "Desperado." We see further that this brilliant ploy has pulled VChess out of book right off the bat. If, by some bizarre accident of fate, VChess should gain the victory it would only be due to some minor bug (perhaps introduced deliberately in an attempt to 'dumb-down' the program to a level where ordinary mortals will not run away screaming) which is easily corrected. There is no question that Desperado is Super GM level and any results which indicate otherwise are merely a clever ruse by the author to sandbag.
