Seems that you have the right engine and version.
My Crafty 17.11 in F6 GUI does the exact same thing. I think CB forgot to
rename the initializing file. However mine selects Be3 and stays with it
as I had tried this earlier.

Why yours will not choose Be3 I have no idea.
Post the PV here please as yours should be much faster than my cel 433.
